How We Verify Every Fee

Find The Rate Sheet

We start from the owner's own fee schedule or website.

Date It

Every fee shows the year it applies to and the day we checked.

Call To Confirm

We phone the owner. Only then does a ramp get the green Verified badge.

Review Reports

Boaters report changes and closures. We re-check fee ramps every year.

0 estimated prices. If we cannot confirm a fee, we say so.

Find Fees By County

Pick a state, then a county, to see every ramp we list and what each source says.

0 of 2498 ramps confirmed by phone so far. "No fee published, call first" means we found no fee on the owner's official pages, not that the ramp is free.

Questions Boaters Ask

Are boat ramps free in Florida?

It depends on who runs the ramp. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) ramp inventory marks some ramps as fee-required and most as no fee, but it does not date those entries, so we show them as unverified until we call. County, city and state park ramps often charge parking or launch fees. Each ramp page shows what we found, the source, and whether we confirmed it by phone.

How do you verify launch fees?

We start from the owner's own rate sheet or website, record the date, then call the owner to confirm. Anything we have not confirmed shows as not yet verified, and we never guess a price.

What does No fee published, call first mean?

It means we could not find a fee for that ramp on the owner's official pages. It does not mean the ramp is free. Call the owner before you go.

Can kayaks and canoes use these ramps?

Often yes, but rules vary by lake and owner. Each ramp page lists the launch types we have confirmed. Where we have not confirmed it, the page says so.
