Florida Boat Ramp Closures: How To Check Before You Go

Published Oct 28, 2026 · Updated Oct 28, 2026

FWC's ramp inventory lists 94 ramps in 39 counties as temporarily closed. The inventory does not date these entries, so a ramp may have reopened, or closed since. We show the list on our Florida closures page and mark every entry not confirmed.

We do not have a live storm or closure feed. After a storm, the owner of the ramp, usually a county, city or state park, is the source for the real status. Call the owner's phone number on the ramp page, or check the owner's own page before you tow a boat.

If you find a ramp closed, reopened or damaged, use Report A Change. We check every report with the owner before we change a page, so a note from you gives us the lead to check.
